How I Think About Design

Hi, I’m Alisha, a Principal Product Designer with a background in enterprise platforms, design systems, and large-scale product experiences across healthcare, SaaS, and insurance.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked on complex digital ecosystems that require balancing user needs, business goals, accessibility, technical constraints, and organizational alignment. I enjoy simplifying complexity and helping teams create experiences that feel intuitive, scalable, and cohesive across products and platforms.

My work spans product strategy through execution across web, iOS, and Android experiences used by millions. I’ve led initiatives focused on onboarding, engagement, workflow modernization, accessibility, and scalable UX foundations while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Accessibility, and business stakeholders throughout the design process.

My Approach

I’m drawn to work that sits at the intersection of systems thinking, product strategy, and hands-on design execution. I believe strong product experiences come from creating clarity, not only within interfaces, but across the way teams collaborate, make decisions, and scale products over time.

I value thoughtful collaboration, honest feedback, and designing with both the user experience and long-term sustainability in mind. Whether I’m simplifying a workflow, facilitating alignment across teams, or evolving a scalable design system, my focus is always on creating meaningful, measurable impact.

Collaboration & Leadership

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with cross-functional teams to align product direction, improve usability, and modernize complex enterprise experiences. My role often extends beyond interface design into workshop facilitation, systems thinking, accessibility advocacy, and helping teams establish scalable UX foundations that improve consistency across products and platforms.

I also enjoy mentoring designers, contributing to design culture, and exploring practical ways AI can support research, workflow efficiency, and product design operations while maintaining human-centered decision making.

Experience Snapshot

My background includes enterprise product and design systems leadership at CVS Health, end-to-end enterprise SaaS UX at Bottomline Technologies, and large-scale digital product design initiatives at Liberty Mutual.

Across each role, I’ve focused on helping organizations simplify complexity, modernize workflows, and create scalable product experiences that improve both user outcomes and operational efficiency.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, I’m a mother of three and spend most of my time balancing family life with creative projects and home renovation ideas. I enjoy illustration, vintage-inspired design, and building things that blend creativity with thoughtful details, whether through digital products, art, or spaces at home.

A lot of my perspective on design comes from everyday life, simplifying complexity, adapting quickly, and creating experiences that feel intuitive and useful for real people.
